Consular Services Timings

1. Consulate General of India, Munich provides the following services by post only (after 19.01.2026) . No appointment is needed for availing these services.

a. Passport services

b. Visa services

c. Misc Consular Services

d. OCI (except Spouse based application). Once your OCI application, submitted by post, has been accepted by the Consulate in all respects, you will be informed to visit the Consulate in-person for biometric enrolment. Biometric enrolment is mandatory for all OCI applicants above 12 years of age and below 70 years of age. Eligible applicants will receive a separate email to book an appointment for providing their biometrics.

2. For availing the following services, it is mandatory for the applicants to appear in-person at the Consulate. Such applicants are requested to schedule their appointment here (Click here for appointment) .

a. General Power of Attorney/Power of Attorney

b. Affidavit

c. Emergency Certificate

d. Life Certificate

e. Renunciation of Indian Citizenship

f. Attestation of signature

g. Spouse based OCI application

h. Any other services where Indian nationals are required to sign before Consular Officer

With pre-scheduled appointments, applicants seeking above services can submit their documents between 0930 hrs to 1230 hrs and collect their documents between 1600 hrs to 1700 hrs
