Attestation of German Documents

Following documents can also be attested by the Consulate:-

  • German Ausweis (Identity Card)
  • German Passport
  • Commercial Documents
  • Salary Statement issued by German employer
  • Telephone Bills by local German authority/company
  • Any other document issued by German Authority

IMPORTANT: The above documents are mandatorily required to be notarized and attested by the District Courts (Landsgerichte)  in the states of Bavaria or Baden-Wurttemberg before submitting it to the Consulate.

Documents required:

  • Duly filled in Miscellaneous application form (Click here)
  • Copies of the document(s) to be attested should be notarised and attested by the District Courts (Landgerichte). Another copy of the document be sent for the record of the Consulate
  • Copy of City Registration (Meldebeschinigung)  (This is not required for commercial documents)
  • Fee to be paid by Bank transfer as per the bank details given below and attach a copy of the bank transfer slip as proof of payment of fee.
  • Attach a self-addressed prepaid stamped (Euro 4.50) envelope of appropriate size for return of serviced documents.


Application along with other required documents mentioned above can be sent only by Post to the Consulate at the following address:
