Consulate General of India, Munich was opened in May, 2002 with operational jurisdiction over the two southern German States of Bavaria and Baden Württemberg. The Consulate provides consular, commercial and other services to the residents of Bavaria and Baden Württemberg.

W. e. f October, 2018 handwritten PIO Cards will become invalid. Thus, all handwritten PIO Card holder are requested to obtain machine readable OCI Cards in lieu of existing handwritten PIO Cards before October, 2018
