'India-Germany: Business Opportunities', Munich. March 18, 2014

The Consulate General of India, Munich and the Bavarian-Indian Centre for Business and University Cooperation (BayIND), located at University of Hof, jointly organised a seminar titled ‘India-Germany: Business Opportunities’ at Bavarian Business House in Munich on March 18, 2014. The objective of the seminar was to project India’s economic strength & the business opportunities available in India for the German companies. The seminar also focused on the opportunities available in the Vocation Education Sector in India. H.E. Dr. Beate Merk, Bavarian Minister for European Affairs & Regional Relations and H.E. Mr. Vijay Gokhale, Ambassador of India to Germany, spoke at the seminar. The seminar was well attended by over 100 participants including dignitaries from Government, Political, Business, Culture, Academia, etc.

H.E. Mr. Vijay Gokhale, the Ambassador of India to Germany, participated in the 2nd India Forum held at Hof University on March 17, 2014, organised by Bavarian-Indian Centre for Business and University Cooperation (BayIND), located at University of Hof. The India Forum included an Intercultural Training to Managers of German SMEs interested to do business in India and the 1st Graduation ceremony of the MBA Programme ‘German Indian Management Studies’ (GIMS).

DGAP Panel Discussion on India. February 17, 2014; Stuttgart

The German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP), Stuttgart, in co-operation with Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Finance & Economy and Deutsche Bank organised a Panel Discussion on India titled ‘Between Bangalore and Kolkata -How does India’s Future Look Like’ at Deutsche Bank Stuttgart on February 17, 2014. H.E. Mr. Vijay Gokhale, Ambassador of India to Germany, spoke at the panel discussion.  The other speakers were: H.E. Dr. Nils Schmid, Deputy Minister-President and Minister of Finance & Economy, Baden-Württemberg, Mr. Michael Kuhn, MD, Kuhn GmbH and Prof. Dr. Stefan Strohschneider, Professor for Intercultural Communications, Friedrich-Schiller-University, Jena. The impressive event was attended by over 125 participants, including dignitaries from Government, Political, Business, Culture, Academia, etc. Consul General Mr. M.
