Forty-five Indian companies participated in Electronica 2012. India \'s official participation was under the aegis of Electronics & Computer Software Export Promotion Council of India (ESC). Electronic Industries Association of India (ELCINA) also participated in the Fair.

The Exhibition is being organized as a part of the celebrations of \"Days of India in Germany 2012-13\".

To mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations betweenIndia andGermany, a series of cultural, economic, science & technology, business and commercial events were organised during the Days of India in Germany in various cities inGermany.
As a part of these celebrations, an Indian Food Festival was organized at Trader Vic\'s Restaurant, Hotel Bayerischer Hof, Munich, from 9-11 September 2012. The event was organized in collaboration with the Bayerischer Hof Hotel and two acclaimed Chefs from India. The food festival provides an opportunity for an authentic Indian cuisine/dinner menu at the Trader Vic\'s Restaurant, Hotel Bayerischer Hof, Munich for about one month from the date of opening of Indian Food Festival on 9th September, 2012.
