Consul General also met with the Professors of various departments of the South Asia Institute (SAI) including Prof. Heeraman Tiwari, Holder of the Heinrich Zimmer Professor (Chair) of Indian Philosophy and Intellectual History at SAI at Ruprecht-Karls University Heidelberg.

The Indian Managers are attending a one month Manager Training Programme at IHK Academy Westerham, Bavaria. The Manager Training programme is organised by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology and supported by The German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)

Commonwealth War Memorial in Duernbach
As per the extant practice, the Consul General of India in Munich laid a wreath at the Commonwealth War Memorial in Duernbach in Bavaria on 13 November 2011. The Indian Section of the cemetery contains the remains of around 60 Indian soldiers. The names of 23 of these soldiers are listed with stone inscriptions. These soldiers were from various regiments of the Indian Army, mainly the Army Services Corps, Gurkhas, Punjab Regiment, Signals, Cavalry, Rajputana and Maratha.
